Coretha worked for PCPC for 50 years as the housekeeper and cook. She opened and closed the church for thousands of worship services and was the person on Saturdays to greet brides and those gathering for funerals. Coretha also held forth in the kitchen for almost every meal served at PCPC the last 30 years including the regular Wednesday night dinner for 200 members of the congregation. The nurture of her home cooked meals fed families and strengthened faith. Coretha continues her long and faithful service to the church in several part time tasks.
Coretha’s daughter Vicky and grandchildren have grown up at the church and are a part of our church family. She continues to reside in her home in Tampa Heights where she has lived for many years.
