This final service of Maundy Thursday is a tradition at PCPC for ten years, and was designed by Rev. Will Wellman. The service recalls the scriptural story of the arrest and interrogation of Jesus before the religious council and the High Priest, and Peter’s denial of Jesus three times as Peter sat by the fire in the courtyard of the council. The service lasts about 20 minutes and includes time for personal prayer and contemplation of Christ’s passion.
