Led by Mary Beth Hunt. The Bible tells us, “The truth will set you free,” but what is true? Half of all Americans admit to sharing made-up news online. Most didn’t know it was fake when they shared it. In this class, we will discuss the concept of truth as seen in the Old and New Testaments and explore how this impacts how we are called to live out our faith today. We will also learn how to evaluate information sources and become discerning consumers and sharers of online media messages (online news and other websites, social media posts, forwarded emails, etc.) Email will@palmaceia.org to get on the email list.
