Sunday November 4th, 6pm in the Chapel
The holidays can be a difficult time for people who have experienced the grief of losing someone they love: The first Thanksgiving and Christmas without your loved one can be particularly difficult. Please know that your family of faith is holding you and your family in our prayers this holiday season as you grieve the loss of your loved ones.
The Stephens’ ministers at PCPC are sponsoring a Service of Remembrance at Vespers on Sunday evening November 4th at 6 PM in the Chapel. The service will last about 45 minutes, will include the Sacrament of Communion, a time for prayers for those who are grieving, and an opportunity to acknowledge with memorial candle lighting the specific individuals whose lives and memories are precious to us as we enter the season ahead.
Additionally, the Stephen’s Ministry Team invites you to the upcoming Sunday School class, “Grieving Through The Holidays“ which will be offered on November 11 and 18th in Covenant Hall, room 312, from 10 to 10:50. The class offers tips on how to navigate through the holidays while dealing with your emotions and family traditions. It is open to anyone who may have a loss whether through divorce, estrangement, death or distance.
