Sacred Spaces: A Florida Wind Band Concert

Florida Wind Band Concert
Sunday, October 9th at 6:00pm
PCPC Sanctuary

The congregation is cordially invited to a concert by the Florida Wind Band on Sunday, Oct 9 at 6:00 pm. The concert, titled “Sacred Spaces,” will feature music that is relevant to the life of the church, including “Wedding Dance,” “Into the Silent Land,” “Be Thou My Vision,” and will even include a nod to the heritage of the Presbyterian Church with “Four Scottish Dances.” In addition, our own Nancy Callahan will join the band on the organ for “Polk and Fugue from Schwanda the Bagpiper.” The Florida Wind Band is comprised of university professors, local music teachers, and professional musicians. The band is conducted by USF’s Director of Bands and PCPC member Matthew McCutchen.

The concert is free and no tickets are required.
