Sundays, April 11th through May 16th, Class recordings released weekly, Zoom discussions at 9am
Led by Rev. Dr. Chuck Jones. This six-week study will examine the Book of Ecclesiastes using Rabbi Harold Kushner’s book, When All You’ve Ever Wanted Isn’t Enough: The Search for a Life That Matters. This provocative book of scripture raises questions that many studiously avoid and suggests challenging ways to resolve some of life’s most perplexing dilemmas. There are no easy answers but rather some hard facts about life’s hard realities. Called by some the “most dangerous book in the Bible,” it asks the questions about the meaning of life, how much is enough, where to find happiness, and what makes our lives matter. This is not your typical scriptural antidote to personal struggles, a challenge to see the world from a new perspective. Books are available for free at the church office (one per household, please). Email will@palmaceia.org to get on the email list.
