Mary, the mother of Jesus, is often a contrary figure in the life of the Protestant Christian – that is if we even give her a second thought after she rides the donkey pregnant into Bethlehem. Mary is theotokos, God-bearer, and yet we often shelve her as an irrelevant vessel. This Advent come join Pastor Nicole and explore three basic questions: Who is Mary? How does Mary’s story intersect with contemporary life? and What does Mary teach us about God?
