Adhering to the urging of government officials and striving to do what is best for the larger community, PCPC has postponed/ moved gatherings to electronic or online formats.
This means that at least through March (if not longer) we will providing resources online for youth and their families to gather around God’s Word and be led through discussions, devotionals, and Bible studies.
While it is not our preference to discontinue physical meetings at this time, there is the unexpected gifts of the space and time to devote to our spiritual lives. I think that practicing social distancing supports the vulnerable of our community and also allows for us to double down on family faith.
My hope and plan is that we will provide ‘online gatherings’ at our regularly scheduled times. This means, on Wednesday night for example, that you can access a mini “Youth Group” where a lesson will be provided, some questions to consider, and a few activities or games you might be able to do alone or with the family. Posts will begin by Wednesday, March 18th and be updated every few days.
It’s important to acknowledge that even when we cannot meet in person that we can still gather through the spirit that moves in all of us.
Rather than inundating you with emails every few days, I will be uploading content to our YOUTH website – www.pcpcyouth.com
Everything will be found under a tab titled “Online Gatherings”.
I also want to encourage you to follow our youth Instagram account that will have abbreviated posts and activities on a more frequent basis (@pcpc.youth)
And finally, you are welcome to join us online for weekly worship services that can be found on our “Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church” FaceBook page or found online at https://palmaceia.org/videos/
