PCPC’s Youth group meeting structure has been rearranged this year for the better! Wednesday nights have become the main focal point for both middle and high school students to gather together. Middle school starts off in small groups, they listen to a small message and end their night with a game in the gym. High school starts with casual fellowship, followed by a small message and a game as well. These nights are special for their sense of community, and good energy.
The best kept secret this year seems to be the new Monday night bible studies! This event is much smaller and more laid back than Wednesdays. The middle school bible study averages about seven students who come with open bibles and open hearts. The group follows the Feasting on the Word curriculum, adapted to their age group, but has also had many other meaningful discussions about other deeper questions in our faith. In this quieter setting, this small group of middle schoolers has taken initiative on themselves to be honest and daring when it comes to studying God. We’re very excited to see awesome relationships grow in this study.
All students are invited to Monday night bible study at any time. Just drop in Mondays at 7:15pm in the 2nd floor Youth Room.
